Paper 1:
Whakarongo School - The school has an increasing roll and is on a small site. A reliable sewage system is essential in these conditions and this paper discusses the issues involved in designing a cost efficient system that protects the pupils health. These issues are similar to those for rural houses on a small sections.
Paper 2:
Onsite Sewage Treatment System - Marae, camping grounds, tourist facilities, restaurants and school/community halls share the issue of peak load treatment when large numbers of people use the facility over a short time.  This paper shows how the issues are dealt with in a cost efficient manner that satisfies the owners and Councils.  These issues are similar for rural holiday homes.
