The
lack of a disposal area within the school and hall grounds
required a full sewage to clearwater sewage treatment system.
I was appointed Project Manager by the Ministry of Education
to undertake all work related to this project. Designed and
obtained Regional Council consent for sewage treatment and
discharge of effluent to constructed wetlands. |

As
this area has a high water table the effluent was pumped
to an elevated bark transpiration area at the rear of the
school. The school roll continues to increase with no problems
being experienced.
