Situated on the banks of the
pristine Rangitikei River, River Valley Tours operates an
adventure rafting, bungy and outdoor adventure tourist facility
combined with overnight accommodation for up to 80 people.
As the lodge is located a narrow strip between a cliff and
the river, a reliable advanced sewage system was a must.
Dave was engaged to undertake a feasibility study to determine
suitable sewage treatment options and design the system
which could be incorporated into the landscape. The system
Dave designed produces effluent 5 times better than other
systems and lasts 4 times longer – a real winner for
the lodge and the environment.
